A 69 year-old Sioux City man was found dead in his home Wed. from self-inflicted gun wound in his mouth, according to Woodbury County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Coriden.
Harold E. Baker, 2225 Dacotah St., shot himself in the mouth with a 12-gauge shotgun sitting in his living room.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Fri. at Berkemier Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Peters of Riverside Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born 12 Feb. 1909, at Wall, SD. He moved to Sioux City in 1925.He was employed by W. A. Klinger Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1971.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Clarence & Jack, both of Sioux City; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ray (Lucille) Lowin & Mrs. Donald (Marie) Loker, both of Sioux City & Mrs. Charles (Mabel) Solomon of Merrill, IA.
