Elizabeth aka Eliza was born around 1831 in Tannaghmore townland, County Armagh ,Northern Ireland.She was married to Samuel Stott also from Co. Armagh on 12 February 1863 at St. John's Church of Ireland,Mullaghbrack Parish. . She had a daughter, Mary Ann , age 7,who was adopted by Samuel Stott.
Eliza and Samuel had a son ,born 8 November 1863 and in 1864, the family emigrated to America.Their infant son,died at sea,during their voyage.They arrived at the Port of Philadelphia and eventually moved to the Wilmington area in Delaware.
Two more children were born,Rachael in 1866 and Samuel Stott Jr. In 1868. Elizabeth died on 2 March 1869 at age 38.She is buried in Green Hill
Presbyterian Church Cemetery,Wilmington,Delaware.
