Richard Tilden Hall, 72 of Quincy, Ky., died Monday, August 27, 2012, at his home.

He was born April 20, 1940, in Letcher County, Ky., to the late Tildon and Lona Hall.

He was an Air Force veteran and former owner and operator of a grocery store.

Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, William "Mickey" Hall and five sisters, Gladys Breeding, Lida Gibson, Beatrice (Mazzie) Leadingham, Helen Fleming and Jean Daniels.

Richard is survived by his wife Valerie Adkins Hall who he married on August 4, 1962, a son, Rick Hall of Buford, SC., and a daughter Ramona "Gail" Hall of Wheelersburg, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 31, 2012, at People's Tabernacle in West Portsmouth, with Ben Musick officiating. Interment in Siloam Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Friday starting at 12:00 Noon.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
