Benjamin F. Zick, 89, of Riverview Health Center, Kimberly, and formerly of Brillion, died Monday at the health center following a brief illness.

He was born April 23, 1892, in rural Brillion, son of Karl and Albertina Persohn Zick.

On Aug 19, 1920, he married Edna Wolfmeyer at Brillion. Mrs. Zick died Sept. 25, 1977.

Mr. Zick farmed in the town of Brillion until his retirement in 1967.

He was a member of the Rural Methodist Church of Brillion, and an honorary member of the Methodist Men. He was a Sunday school teacher and served on the church board for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Warren of Appomatox, Va., and Marlin of Appleton; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ezra Wise of Waupaca, and Mrs. Walter Huebner of Milwaukee. One daughter, seven sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were Thursday at the Rural Methodist Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mark Swanton, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Bluff cemetery.
