Kathrine "Kat" Parsley, 93, of Midland stepped out of this life into glory on August 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland with Rev. Gayle Reeves and Rev. L.A. Caldwell, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Kat was born August 20, 1919 to Rev. Lark Baker and Ester Stubblefield in Hamilton, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Lark Baker and Ester Stubblefield, and eight siblings. Kathrine is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, L.E. "Dub" Parsley, two daughters, JoAnn Carlton and Wanda Tennison.

Kathrine was a person who loved going to garage sales, decorating cakes, crocheting, going to the lake, having fun and loved being around her family. She was better known to her family as "Nanny". She above all else loved Jesus and was dedicated to her church home Calvary Assembly of God for many years under the ministry of Rev. Gayle Reeves.

Kathrine is survived by her son, Otis Parsley and wife Margaret, grandson, Mike Stamper and wife Pam and granddaughter, Darla Keller and husband Frankie, all of which are from Greenwood, TX; grandson, Todd Weaver and wife Karen of Midland, TX; granddaughter, Sherrie Davis and husband Mike of Odessa, TX; granddaughter, Stacy Hanlan and husband Brad of Greenwood, TX; grandson, Jeffrey Parsley and wife Lea of Midland, TX; grandsons, Jackie Christian, Bubba Christian and Glen Tennison; 29 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.

Pallbearers will be Todd Weaver, Jeffrey Parsley, Brad Hanlan, Mike Simms, Justin Stamper and Frankie Keller, Jr.
