Flor Rosado, 73, of Lowsville, formerly of Dividing Creek, N.J., died Tuesday (March 12, 2002) at Fairmont General Hospital (Fairmont, WV).
He was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Puerto Rico, the son of the late Sergio and Modesta Ortiz Rosado.
Mr. Rosado came to the United States at the age of 9 and was employed at Wheaton's Glass in Millville, N.J. He was also a farmer and store owner in Dividing Creek, N.J. For the past 15 years, he has resided in Lowsville where he operated Angie's Place.
He is survived by his wife, Hannah Lewis Rosado; two sons, Bobby Rosado of Vineland, N.J., and Florentino Rosado of Newport, N.J., Bonnie Maguire of Vineland, N.J., DArlene Maldonado of Minotola, N.J., and Angie Hamrick of Lowsville; four brothers, Roy, Robert, Felix and William Rosado, all of Puerto Rico; six sisters, Angie Figueroa, Norma and Lucy Rosado, all of Newark, N.J. and Grista, Carmen and Olga Rosado, all of Puerto Rico; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rosado was preceded in death by one son, Sammie Rosado.
Friends may call from 6-8pm today at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover. Services will be held at 8pm today at the funeral home with the Revs. John Miker and Jacob Collins officiating.
The family requests that flowers be omitted. Additional visitation and services will be held at the Pagents Funeral Home in Cedarville, N.J., with bural in Haleyville Cemetery.
