G, 18th Reg., GA Infantry on 1May 1861; transferred to Co. A, 23rd Reg., GA Inf. on 1 Dec 1861, and appointed 1st Sgt. date not recorded; elected 2nd Lt., Co. E, 64th Reg., GA Inf. 2 Mar 1863; resigned 10 Jan 1865. They are shown in the 1880 Worth Co., GA census. She said that he initially enlisted in Bartow Co., GA, and gave his death date as 1883, Worth Co., GA. Page of Pension application and document regarding Confederate service placed on FAG page.
