Luna had two true loves in her life and that was Wesley and Welda Mae. She and Wesley were married on 22 December 1915 in Unicoi County, Tennessee. Welda came bouncing into their lives on 6 April 1918. Wesley was serving with the American Expeditionary Forces and died in France during World War I and Welda passed on at age seven. Luna never forgot them both and stayed true to them for the rest of her life. She never remarried. Luna also never forgot our service members, she aided them until she retired from the Veterans Administration at Mountain Home, Tennessee.
