JOHN SCHEHRER
JOHN SCHEHRER, age 68 years, died Monday afternoon at 2:20 at the residence of JIM SIMS, 410 Ball Street, after a serious illness of some 30 days. He had been in poor health for the past year. Mr. Schehrer was a single man and made his home in Weatherford for the past 6 or 7 years. In early life, he was engaged in railroad contracting and later with the S. & P. Oil Company. He is survived by one sister, MRS. ANDREW BRANCH of Ringling, and four brothers, FRED SCHEHRER and EDWARD SCHEHRER of Brookfield, Missouri, ADAM SCHEHRER of Portageville, Missouri and CHARLES SCHEHRER of Illinois. He was member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were held at 5:00 Tuesday afternoon, REV. PAUL CAMPBELL, pastor of the Central Christian Church, officiated. The body was then shipped to Ringling where interment was held.
