"Mrs. Thelma Manetts Atkinson, 74
Services for Mrs. Thelma Manetta Atkinson, 74, of Centerville, who died Thursday, June 3, 1999 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, were held on Sunday, June 6 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The service was conducted by Bros. Jim Garner and Gerry Parker, and was followed by burial in Milan Cemetery in Centerville.
A native of Waynesboro, Mrs. Atkinson was the wife of the late Hildred Atkinson and the daughter of the late Dewey Durham and Mary Reeves Durham. She was an employee of Genesco.
She leaves two daughters, Manetta Atkinson of Centerville and Patricia Bowman of Nunnelly; five sons, Danny Atkinson of Hohenwald, and Johnny Atkinson, Ricky Atkinson, Robert Atkinson and James Atkinson, all of Centerville; two sisters, Betty Webb and Wilma Basinger, both of Hohenwald; three brothers, Bedford Durham of McEwen, Curtis Durham of Donelson and Jerry Durham of Centerville, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren [sic]."
