Daughter of Frank Seitz and Emma Otto.
Her mother died when she was 2-1/2 and she and her sister Helen went to live with their aunt Anna Muth in Monona.
Graduated from Monona High School and received a teaching certificate from Upper Iowa University in Fayette. She then taught at a rural school near Edgewood for a time.
Married Harold Brockmeyer on 07 Aug 1925 and they farmed near Wood Center.
After his death, she moved to Manchester.
She died at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital on 07 Dec 1994.

son John and wife Fran of Mountain Home, AR
foster son Joe Parker & wife Billie of Glendale AZ
7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by two infant daughters, two brothers (Rufus and George Seitz), a sister Helen Seitz, and her parents.

Her son John Parker appears to be adopted and actually the son of her brother-in-law Ernest Frank Brockmeyer and Vernie Davis. Vernie died 21 May 1931 in Anamosa.
The foster son Joe Parker, is a half-brother to John, the son of Vernie Davis and her first husband George Parker.
