Wanda was a 1950 graduate of Lawrenceville High School. She worked at Texaco Refinery in the Payroll Department from September 21, 1950 to February 5, 1952, was an Entertainment Hostess for the Officers Club in Camp Cook, California from February 1952 to November 1952 and then worked in the office as a typist for Ford Motor Company in Chicago from January to November 1953. Wanda also worked at Cannon's Furniture Store.
Wanda attended First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, IL. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends, especially during the holidays.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James.
Survivors include her husband Tom of Lawrenceville, one son, Jeff Gaddy of Oakland, CA, one daughter Janet Stevenson (Clint) of Palestine, IL, and four grandchildren, Lindsay Willis (Nathan) of Evansville, IN, Ben Gaddy of California, Hannah Satterthwaite of Evansville, IN and Peyton Stevenson of Palestine, IL and one sister Jane Slattun (Stan) of Camino Island, WA.
