She and her husband the owner and founder of Hy-Way Hardware & Supply and ran it in Copperas Cove Texas, 1956 through 1972 where they lived at Georgetown Road since 1949. They also started the first Catholic Church in the Town called "Holy Family Church" where she was a Eucharistic Minister.

She was raised and educated in Leominster Massachusetts and graduated in 1932 from the sisters of the Holy Ghost Convent in Putman Connecticut.
