RINGGOLD -- Cecil A. Sims died Monday, April 17, 2000, in a hospital in Kingsport, Tenn.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Burning Bush Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Cora McDaniel Sims; two brothers, Harold and Neal Sims, and two sisters, Dovie Sims and Jessie Lewis.

Survivors include a brother, Marvin Sims, Ringgold; two sisters, Nell Liner, Chattanooga, and Idaline Wilson, Signal Mountain.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, with the Rev. David Clay officiating.

Burial will be in Burning Bush Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be today after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
