ATLANTA — Services for Dorothy
Beacham Keen, 88, will be
Held at 11 a.m. Friday in the C.
Homer Adams Chapel of Adams
Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry
Roberts and the Rev. Jack Key will
Officiate and burial will be in
Northview Cemetery.
A native of Laural, Miss., Mrs.
Keen was raised in Laurens County
And had made her home in Atlanta
For a number of years. She
Was the daughter of the late James
Hershel and Harriett Daffin
Beacham, was the former Dorothy
Beacham Whitlock and was the
Widow of Lawrence Alexander
Whitlock, was a retired school
Teacher having taught in the Laurens,
Bibb and DeKalb County
school systems, and was a member
of St. John's United Methodist
Church in Atlanta. Mrs. Keen died
early Tuesday evening at her home
following a lengthy illness.
W.W. Larsen Jr., W.W. Larsen
III, Lt. James B. Whitlock Jr.,
David Hudson, Lawrence Hudson
and Hampton Hudson will serve as
pallbearers.
The family may be contacted at
the home of Frances B. Larsen and
Evelyn B. Malone, 115 Geneva St.
