Clarence G. Elliott 58, of 523 North State Street, Syracuse, formerly of this city, died this morning at the Good Shepherd Hospital, Syracuse, after an illness of six weeks. Mr. Elliott had lived in Syracuse for the past two years. He served with the old Wheeler Rifles of Auburn years ago.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Ella Alger Elliott; two sons, Russell C. Elliott and Paul F. Elliott, both of Syracuse; his father, Robert Elliott of Owasco; a brother, Earl Elliott of Cleveland, and a sister, Mrs. Lee Church of Owasco.
The body will be brought to Auburn for funeral services at a time to be announced later.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the funeral rooms of Lester E. Brew, 47 Clark Street, for Clarence G. Elliott, who died at the Hospital of the Good Shepherd in Syracuse. Rev. Richard J. Blocker, pastor of Owasco Reformed Church, officiated. Burial was in Soule Cemetery. Bearers were Clarence Church, Charles Church and Benjamin Hart of Owasco, Byron Chappell, John Kingston and Roger Hooker of Auburn.
