Dorothy Burris, 74, of Russellville, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.

The daughter of Floyd and Edna Vaughn Wooten, she was born May 16, 1938, in Hasty. She was a 1956 graduate of Russellville High School. She was a member of the Russellville Chapter of the National Association of Junior Auxiliary and First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Boyd Wooten; and twin brother, Don Wooten.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Burris of Russellville; two daughters, Cindy Krost and husband Brad and Cheryl Williams and husband Alan, all of Russellville; four grandchildren, Brian Krost of Nashville, Tenn., Kevin Krost of Pittsburg, Pa., Aaron Williams of Fayetteville and Matthew Williams of Russellville; and two sisters, Ruby Clayton of West Fork and Wiladene Freitas of California.

Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at First United Methodist Church under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service with the Rev. Roy Smith officiating. Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
