Funeral services for Stanley Thomas Anderson, 59, of McMinnville were held Wednesday, August 4, at 6 p.m. at Love-Cantrell and Cope Chapel, with Ray Weddington and B. C. Campbell presiding.
Mr. Anderson passed away at his residence on Aug. 2 after an extended illness. He was born in Jackson County on Dec. 29, 1944, and was an Army veteran and affiliated with the Pleasant Cove Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blair and Roberta Hillis Anderson.
Surviving relatives in the McMinnville community and elsewhere includes his wife Pat Anderson; son and daughter-in-law Finis and Jamie Anderson; stepson Jackie Troglen; granddaughter Megan Anderson; sister Linda Hibshman; special friend David Adams; niece Sharon Agnir of Massachusetts; uncle and aunt Ralph and Bonnie Hillis; aunt Katherine Anderson of Gainesboro; cousins Danny Hillis, Elain Rains, Margaret Bailey of Nashville, Tom Anderson of Gainesboro, Gayle Canfield of Nashville, and Jack Joiner of Colliersville; father and mother-in-law Earl and Janie Lee Madewell of Spencer; sister-in-law Ann Hale and husband Wayne of Spencer; brother-in -law Carson Madewell and wife Evelyn of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
