SS-Untersturmführer (2nd lieutenant) Heinrich Wicker was responsible for surrendering the Dachau concentration camp along with red cross representative Victor Maurer to the U.S army, Wicker had only been in the camp for 2 days after the original camp guards and officers fled. When questioned by Gen. Henning Linden about the train full of corpses in Dachau, Wicker denied knowledge or of other atrocities found in the camp.
