Marian Louise Clark married Calvin Harper in 1937 and resided in Fort Thomas Kentucky most of their lives. Calvin and Marian had four children and 12 grandchildren. She spent the last decade of her life in West Palm Beach, Florida and Covington Kentucky. Her grandchildren called her "Meme".
Meme was the best cook. I remember how her house smelled of fresh baked bread. She made the best devils food cake for everyone's birthday and Christmases at Meme & Grandpa's house was the epitome of family. She taught her granddaughter Debbie how to read at age 3 and introduced her to "The Price is Right" and "As The World Turns". Unfortunately, her smoking habit caught up with her and she died of complications from that at age 75. We miss her.
