A memorial service for Melrose DeVere Nettleingham, 82, and Grace Ann Nettleingham, 91, both of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and formerly of Cullom, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Cullom United Methodist Church in Cullom.

A graveside service will be held at the Sullivan Center Cemetery near Cullom following the memorial services. The family will then gather for fellowship following the graveside service at the church. Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview, Ohio, had charge of arrangements in Ohio.

He died March 10, 1997, at Russells Point, Ohio. She died June 23, 2009, at Bellefontaine.

Melrose DeVere Nettleingham was born Nov. 24, 1914, in Livingston County, the son of Charles and Agnes (Stephens) Nettleingham. Grace Ann York was born July 4, 1917, in Ford County, the daughter of Henry and Mable (Perkins) York. They married March 7, 1936, in Cullom, at the Cullom Methodist Church parsonage.

Surviving are two sons, Richard DeVere (Ruth) Nettleingham, Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Allen (JoAnn) Nettleingham, Charles Town, W. Va.; two daughters, Phyllis (Kenneth) Munson, Buffalo, N.Y., and Lois (Richard) Mayhue, Newhall, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Cullom United Methodist Church.
