Mary Piper Stuart,79, formerly of Milroy, Ind., died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 1989 in the Waldron Nursing Home, Waldron, Ind.
She was born Nov. 28, 1909, the daughter of Charles and Altha Hasty. She first married Clint E. Piper, who preceded her in death in 1951. She married Ralph Stuart, who preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of the Big Flat Rock Christian Church, and the Milroy OES.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Piper, of rural Milroy, Ind.; and one granddaughter, Victoria Lyn Piper, Rushville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dorsey and Russell Hasty.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Burns Funeral Home, Milroy, Ind., with the Rev. Robert Weatherford officiating.
Burial will be in the Old Milroy Cemetery, Milroy, Ind.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
There will be an Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
