"Del" was born and reared in Utah. He served his country in the Korean War and served as a missionary in Samoa for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After completing an MBA at Harvard, he enjoyed a career in real estate and development in several parts of the country as well as Saudi Arabia.
Del is survived by his wife, LaRee C (Munns) Madsen; two sons Keven Madsen (Ann) of Cumming, GA and Douglas Madsen (Carrie) of Alexandria, VA; a daughter Christine Madsen of Salt Lake City, UT, and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, 6/16/2001 at 10:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery in Salt Lake under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
