Pro Baseball player/Business man. He played baseball for Texas A&M. He graduated in 1923 and joined the New York Yankee's in 1924. He was a team mate of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. He quit the Yankee's in 1927 and established Gearench Manufatures. He threw out the first pitch at the 1984 World Series. On March 21 1978 C.E. "Pat" Olsen Field was dedicated in his honor at Texas A&M University
