Aunt Lizzie Bailey, and aged and highly respectei citizen of this community passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bob Bonta, Wednesday morning. She was laid to rest in Emerson cemetery Thursday afternoon. Rev. Ingold conducted short funeral services at the grave. Seven children are left to mourn the loss of a good mother, William and Sterling Bailey of this place; Rev. R O.Bailey of Canton, Mrs. Chile Ashford of Texas, Mrs. Josephine Ward of Montana, Mrs. Dora Martin of Ewing, Mrs. Ida Clark of Palmyra and Mrs. Allle Bonta of this place. She was 89 years old.
