An obituary published in the Herald and Review for Lt. Col. Stanley Coe Storm, 84, of Shelbyville, states that he had died May 14, 1993 in the Shelby Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1908, in Shelby County, the son of Fred E. and Lulu E. Storm Storm, He married Rita Tice on June 22, 1932, in Shelbyville, and she survives. . He was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, a 62-year member of Jackson Masonic Lodge 62, Shelbyville, and a member of the Shriners ISIS of Salina, Kan. He was also a charter member of the Shelbyville Kiwanis Club and a member of the VFW and American Legion of Shelbyville. He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1928 to 1960 and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict.
