Funeral services were held at Humboldt, Tenn., Wednesday, January 10 for Mrs. Addie V. Medlin, who died in St. Louis January 6. She was the wife of the late James A. Medlin and daughter of L.E. and Mary Jane Humphreys of Humbolt, who preceded her in death several years ago.
The deceased was married to J.A. Medlin June 11, 1899 and to them were born three children: Mrs. Mae Medlin Burrows of St. Louis, Eva Christine Medlin, who died in infancy and Wm. Lemuel Medlin of Bernie, Mo. She was the step-mother of Miss Daisy Hegler of Los Angeles, Calif.; Roy Medlin of this city and of the late Louie and Herman Medlin.
She left not only these children to mourn her departure, but 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
