LeRoy worked at the Burgess Battery Company 42 years.
He was a World War II US Air Force Veteran serving 1943-1945.
Surviving is his wife, Lola of Freeport; two brothers, LaVern Adams of Arizona and Cecil (Margaret) Adams of Freeport; two sisters, Virginia Sisler of Lena and Theora Young of Arizona.
His parents and one brother, Ralph Adams preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be Saturday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday 10 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in his name.
