Cynthia "Cindy" J. Bramstedt, 59, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Cindy was born June 10, 1953 in Sheboygan, to Beverly (Hopf) Kleinhans and the late Carlyle Kleinhans. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1971 and received her associate's degree in nursing from Lakeshore Technical Institute in 1973. Cindy married Dennis Bramstedt on March 11, 1973 at Saron UCC Church. She worked as a LPN at Plymouth Hospital, for Dr. Brickbauer and later for Dr. Malewiski. She also farmed with her husband in the Howards Grove Area. Twenty one years ago, she received a second chance at life with a kidney and pancreas transplant. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, gardening, cooking and reading. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Howards Grove. She will be missed by her dog, Ruby.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bramstedt (Fiance, Drew Gierke), Sheboygan and Nicole (Bob) Peter, Howards Grove; two grandsons, Brayden and Bryce Peter; one brother, Randy (Susie) Kleinhans, Sheboygan Falls; three brothers-in-law, Orlynn (Sue) Bramstedt, Allan (Donna) Bramstedt and Dale (Kathy) Bramstedt; two sisters-in-law, Janice (Roger) Lieffring and Lori Ann (Mark) Feldmann. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Willard (Winona) Bramstedt.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church (W2780 Hwy 32, Howards Grove) with the Rev. Darrel Bergelin officiating. Friends may call Monday, July 30, 2012 at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
