In Memory of Mrs. A. E. Kellogg.
At 11 o'clock Friday morning, June 30, 1922, the gentle spirit of Mrs. A. E. Kelloge was released from its suffering and took its triumphant flight to the heavenly land.
Mrs. Kellogg was born in Fayette county, September 5, 1844, and was the daughter of James and Adaline Breeding. In early life she was converted and united with the Methodist church, but 42 years ago she united with the Presbyterian church and during the remainder of her life was a consistent member of that faith.
On Jan. 26, 1958, she was married to John B. Kellogg at Flatonia, Fayette county. This union was blessed with eleven children.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Adaline Breeding, Encinal, two sisters, three brothers brothers and five children, seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
During her continued illness for more than a year she was ever a patient uncomplaining sufferer, always greeting her friends with a cordial s lie and pleasant word. A large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives gently laid her tired body to rest in the Pilgrim cemetery. The beautiful floral offerings showed the loving esteem in which she was held.
May the God of all comfort sustain the sorrowing loved ones.
