"Mrs. Louise (Payan) Dubois (dit) Woods, widow of Paul DuBois dit Woods, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Jefferson, 37 Palmer avenue, this morning. Mrs. Woods was a real daughter of the Revolution, her father having after the war settled in Canada, where she was born, January 19, 1816, the youngest of seven children. She was married to Mr. DuBois dit Woods in 1837. Ten children were born to them, five of whom are living, Paul DuBois-Woods of Wakefield, R.I., Leon DuBois-Woods of Milford, Mrs. Edward Bigoness of Pawtucket, R.I., Mrs. Joseph Jefferson and Mrs. Louise Frette of this city, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jefferson, Thursday morning at 8:15, with services at St. Joseph's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery."
