Schuylar M. Mather, age 83, of 3748 Sargent St., died on Friday, February 14, 1986 in a Madison nursing home. He was born July 15, 1902 in Sumpter, WI. He was a 35-year employee of the Gisholt Machine Co. and was a former member of the Eagle's Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Janet Rawson to whom he had been married for 60 years; a daughter, Mrs. Wayden (Lois) Greer of New Glarus; a son, Ramon Mather of Dania, FL; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 1986 at the Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. Burial will be in the Cottage Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. WSJ 2/16/1986
