Janet S. Walters, 83, of Laurel died Monday, July 23, 2012 at South Central Regional Medical Center.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Walters was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Walters and son, Richard Walters.
Survivors include one son, David Walters of Sacramento, CA; two daughters, Rebecca "Becki" Tucker of Laurel and Frances Walters of Hillsborough, NC; three granddaughters, Meredith Baker and husband Steve, Courtney Clemons and husband Chad, and Kelly Brooks and husband Jay; eight great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
