ABBEVILLE - Graveside services for Myrtle Bowman Collins, age 89, Abbeville will be at 11A.M. Wednesday at Siloam Cemetery in Abbeville, Rev. Jay Reppert officiating. Interment in Siloam Cemetery. She died Monday, October 1, 2001 at Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus.

The family will receive friends at Frazier-Holt Funeral Directors in Rochelle from 5:00 until 7:00P.M. Tuesday.

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and a member of Rochelle United Methodist Church. She was born in Wilcox County on November 14, 1911. She was daughter of the late James Joseph Bowman and Mary Jane Keene Bowman. She was the widow of the late James W. Collins.

Survivors include son, James W. Collins, Jr. of Perry; daughters, Ann Cumbee of Albany, Selena Layden of Macon, and Sarah Nell Johnson of Newman; sister, Emily Dart of Jackson, MI; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Siloam Baptist Church, c/o Rev. Tommy Baker, Rt. 2, Box 1240, Abbeville, GA 31001. Frazier-Holt Funeral Directors has charge of arrangements.
