Mrs. Froyd had lived in Maryville and Bedison, Mo., areas for many years, moving to St Joseph 13 years ago. She was a retired real estate agent and had worked for Schmidt Realty and Roster Realty, both of Maryville. Mrs. Froyd was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, St Joseph, and formerly attended the RLDS church in the Maryville and Bedison areas. In 1931, she married Clifford R. Froyd in St Joseph. He died in 1991. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Wells.
Surviving are three daughters, Winona Rupprecht of Tucson, Ariz., Colleen Brooner and Sandra Mogg, both of St Joseph; a brother, Raymond Coffelt of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grand-children.
