Mrs. Eve Clark, relict of the late Samuel Clark, died at the home of her daughter-in-law-Mrs. Millard Clark-on B street, Tuesday morning, aged seventy years and five days. She had been ill for a long time.
The deceased came to this place with her husband from Oil City about fourteen years ago, and since the death of Mr. Clark, four years since, had been making her home with her daughter-in-law. She was the mother of thirteen children, of whom the following survive: Katharine, wife of Frank Swartz, of New Florence; Tillie, wife of Jerry Ling, of East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County; George, of Morrellville; Jerry of West Taylor Township; Frank, of Westmont; Annie, wife of Jacob Sell, of the Ninth Ward; Maggie, wife of William Sell, of the Seventeenth Ward; and Alice, wife of Charles Dick, of the Nineteenth Ward.
Mrs. Clark was a sister of Harry Helsel, of Morrellville; Mrs. James Murty, of the First Ward, and Mrs. Lizzie Crouse, who lives near South Fork, and a half sister of Michael Helsel, of the Eight Ward. The funeral took place yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, with the interment in Benshoff's Cemetery.
