Additional information was taken from U.S. Census enumerations for 1920 (with widowed father, living with family of paternal grandfather (Reuben Doyal Burt (1869-1950)) in Mill Creek, Colquitt, Georgia,) 1930 (with family of paternal grandfather in Mill Creek,) and 1940 (with spouse and children in Moultrie, Colquitt, Georgia;) and Georgia Deaths, 1919-98 (Certificate 022338, showing residence in Colquitt County, Georgia.)

Another contributor has suggested that Mr. Burt was born in Warren County, Georgia. No sources were provided, and I could confirm only that he was born in Georgia.
