Margaret Albin was probably married twice. She was united in marriage with William Ferdinand Peterson in 1837 in Clark County, Ohio. On October 3, 1844 she was married a second time to William Cooper Hitchens also in Clark County, Ohio. Shortly after this second marriage the newlyweds moved to Delaware County, Indiana where William passed away in 1892. It is not clear what became of Margaret for the time period 1892-1897. None of the burial lists fro Delaware County include her name. Also, no third marriage in this time period could be found. It is likely that she died and was buried in Delaware County, but there is no evidence to substantiate this fact.
