Daughter of Richard Rhodes. In the 1890's, she married Thomas A. Woodruff.
An obituary in Dallas Morning News, 6 Oct 1954, states in part that she
"... died at the home of her daughter, Muriel Diamond, in Garland, Texas....
She is survived by two sons, Hubert of Cleburne, and Paul of St. Helena, California; six daughters: Margaret Klutts of El Paso, Texas, Lottie Warren of Keene, Texas, Captain Dema Woodruff of Garland, Texas, Raye Keskeys of Cleburne, Texas, Anna Day of Stockton, California, and Muriel Diamond of Garland, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Kirby Patrick of Denton, Texas.
All during her life, Mamie Woodruff was a sincere Christian. She was a loyal wife and a loving mother, faithfully training her children to love God and to live according to Christian standards. In 1920 she accepted the faith of the Seventh-day Adventists, and devotedly she looked for the second coining of her Lord."
