MARY FORST (d. 1937)

Mrs. W. R. Forst, 64, who, with Mr. Forst, operated the Tisch Mills hotel for years, died shortly before noon today at the Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral arrangements will be announced Thursday. Mrs. Forst, nee Mary Konop, was born at Stangelville, Kewaunee County, in 1873. Forty years ago, she was married to W. R. Forst and Mr. and Mrs. Forst managed the Tisch Mills hotel until Mr. Forst's death in 1926 when Mrs. Forst continued in charge.
Five years ago, she retired from active management. The hotel was taken over by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alois Lodl.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Charles Urbanek, city, Mrs. Otto Lange, Helen and Ann Forst, all of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alvin Kuehl, Kewaunee, Mrs. Alois Lodl, Tisch Mills; a sister, Mrs. Harlow Hawver, Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.

Wenzel Forst of Tisch Mills and Miss Mary Knopf of Franklin, were married on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1898 at the Catholic Church in Tisch Mills by Rev. Koehler. Both of the young people are well known here and have hosts of friends who will join your correspondentin wishing them a prosperous and happy journey over the sea of life.
