Services Today For John W. Carter, 80
Funeral services for John Willis Carter, 80, 1216 Ash Street, who died Friday at his home will be at 3 p.m. today at the East Side Church of Christ with Van McCormick and G. B. Shelburne Jr. officiating
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Carter is survived by his widow Birdie, two sons, Donal D. Carter of Clovis and Ora D. Carter of Brooker, Tex.; daughter, Mrs. Tom Snell Clovis; a brother, Jesse Carter of Sayre, Okla., and a sister Mrs. Rought Mauldin of Englewood, Colo.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Bradford, Melvin Gilbert, Noble Glover, Roy Beardian, Garland Gossett and Dean Myers. Arrangements are being taken care of by the Chapel of Memories Mortuary.
