She was born to Iris Winford and Della Louise Cooper McDaniel in De Queen, Arkansas, on October 15, 1959. She was a teacher and a paraprofessional in the El Dorado School System, and was a member of the West Side Baptist Church of El Dorado, Arkansas. She enjoyed reading, arts, crafts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Gabe Adair, and a brother, Gilbert McDaniel.
She is survived by her husband, Al Adair, Jr. of El Dorado, Ark.; a son, Benjamin Corey Adair of El Dorado, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Amy Samantha Shaffer and Britteny DeAnn and Chris Ruff all of El Dorado, Ark.; three grandchildren, Lukas Humphreys, Owen Shaffer, and Daphne Ruff, five brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Wanda McDaniel of Jacksonville, Ark., Mac and Linda McDaniel of De Queen, Elvis and Linda McDaniel of Broken Bow, Okla., Gary and Wanda McDaniel of Franklin, North Carolina, and Stephen McDaniel of Norman, Oklahoma; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Allene Reid of Oklahoma City, Okla, Leila Deal of Broken Bow, Okla., Macy and Kenneth Hardaway of Battiest, Okla.; Martha Russo of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Kay and Rick Wilson of Broken Bow, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Kathy Adair will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, July 13th in the Pickens Assembly of God Church, Pickens, Okla. with Bro. Larry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Battiest Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
