Sally Jo Adam, beloved wife and mother, passed away on June 8, 2005, in San Antonio, Texas.

She was born November 9, 1926 in Stockdale, Wilson County, Texas, to Paul and Ame Goehring Richardson. On December 17, 1947, she married Jimmie Charles Adam. In 1950, they moved to the Balcones Community in Kendall County, where they have lived for the past 55 years.

She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Boerne.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jimmie, daughter Kathryn Adam-Hurst and son-in law James Hurst of San Antonio, son Bryan C. Adam of San Antonio, grandchildren Jacob and Sarah Hurst and Tanya and Derek Adam all of San Antonio; sister Betty J. Asher of Boerne, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Chester and June Adam of Boerne; aunt Mrs. Frances Stapleton of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at the Ebensberger Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2005, from St. John Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 315 E. Rosewood, Boerne, Texas.
