HEART TROUBLE PROVES FATAL TO MR. JOHN W. BLANDFORD
~John W. Blandford, former justice of peace and well known in Muscogee county, died of heart trouble at his residence, Lover's Lane, at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Mr. Blandford had been ill for sometime.
~The deceased was an uncle of Dr. H. H. Blandford, city physician. He is also survived by his wife, three children, and one sister.
~The funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from Torbett's undertaking establishment, the Rev. S. Alston Wragg, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, conducting the services. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. V.J.. Peker, M.H. Gardiner, S.M. Wellborn, F.U. Garrard, Banks Young and L.W. McPherson. The interment was in Linwood cemetery.

John lives on Lawyers Lane in Wynnton. His occupation is note collection. He is married to Inez. Cause of death is heart failure and congestion of the lungs. CL Torbert, Undertaker.
