A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Hillside Chapel for Jack Andrew Easter, who died Oct. 16 at age 83.
Mr. Easter was born April 26, 1922, in Portland. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific and moved to Gladstone in 1954. He was a retired longshoreman. In 1943, he married Leona Day.
Survivors include his wife; son, Jack; daughter, Susan; and brothers, Doyle and Bill.
