Marvin Aull, 81, of Philpot passed away peacefully Friday, July 6, 2012, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1930, in Roseville, Mich., to the late J.B. and Mary Lee Aull. Marvin was preceded in death by his twin brother, Maurice Aull; and a sister, Jessie Lee Martin. Marvin was a veteran of the Korean War and after returning home was employed by V.E. Anderson Manufacturing. He retired from Sun Windows, formerly V.E. Anderson, after 40 years of service. Following his retirement, he put his skills to use by volunteering his time at Habitat for Humanity. Marvin loved his family and always made sure they were provided for. Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Louella Aull; brothers Frankie Aull and Ray Aull; Sister Margaret Ann Aull, OSU; a close brother-in-law, Randall Martin; two sons, Rodney Aull of Owensboro and Rick Aull of Utica; two daughters, Diana Worthington (Dean) of Owensboro and Janet Millay (Frankie) of Philpot; eight grandchildren, Brandon Aull, Travis Aull, Jay Aull, Sabrina Aull, Chantelle Storm, Chelsea Millay, Matthew Millay and Austin Millay; two stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Aaron Worthington; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at noon Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Knottsville, with internment following at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Habitat for Humanity.
