She was born August 16, 1925 in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of William Walter and Gertie Ethel (Tweety) Clark. She grew-up in Pittsburg and attended Pittsburg Schools.
Hattie married Andrew A. Howard on June 20, 1941 in Girard, KS he preceded her in death on July 5, 1992. She then married Junior Roberson; he also preceded her in death.
She worked for Bell & Hess in Kansas City, MO; Shields Nursing Home in Pittsburg and worked for Woody's Café in Miami, OK.
As a child she was a member of the Nazarene Church and was also a member of the Cherryville Eagles.
Survivors include a son Allen Howard of Blytheville, AR; 6 daughters Marian Pond of Grove, OK, Gertie Howard of Ketchum, OK, Frances Sparkman of Grove, OK, Joyce Howard of Oklahoma, Nancy Bendt of Silver Hill, AL, Helen Kizer of Deer Park, TX; a brother Johnie
E. Clark of Kansas City, MO, Betty Daugherty of Wichita, KS; 25 Grandchildren, 29 Great-grandchildren and several Great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2 daughters Betty Dry and Alice Mantis; 4 sons Kenneth H. Howard, Robert E. Howard Alva Ray Howard and Danny Joe Howard Sr.; 3 brothers Arley (Tump) Clark, Henry (Bill) O. Clark and Harry (Buddy) W. Clark.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday July 9, 2012 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg with Reverend Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery . Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Condolences can be
