He came to California in 1896 form Carbon, Wyoming. To Lompoc, California.
Moved to Lancaster, California in 1913, about 1920's moved to Flower, California
then to Gardened California. In 1914 Lancaster, California. he lived on Cedar Street,
later on Date and 11th Street. In 1916 had wheat,grain ranch at Neenach, California
also raised hogs and livestock. June 1916 asked the aqueduct for more water for
Neenach, In June 1920 he gave up ranch work as to strenuous
He married Nellie Catherine Mc Donald December 25, 1883 in Nebraska.
They were married at the home of A. Timmel who was relative of Nellie Mc Donald
mother. The Mc Donald family were from Nova Scotia, Canada

February 18, 1918 George Washington Kelley was elected trustee of the Lancaster Grammer School
to take the place made vacant by the death of Hugh Petries. A good selection]
