Gott, Mable (Adams) 1901 - 27 Apr 1968 Mrs. Mable Gott, 66, of 3429 Mann, widow of the well-known teacher, Adrian E. Gott, died at 7 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Hospital. Mrs. Gott had been ill about five months. Her husband, who died March 16,1968 was a teacher and administrator and served in a number of area schools. A native of Taney County, Mrs. Gott and her husband had lived in Bradleyville, Cedar Creek and Chadwick and were in Ozark form 1951 to 1959. Mr. Gott was Christian County superintendent of schools. Mr. and Mrs. Gott moved to Springfield in 1964. Mrs. Gott was a member of the Ozark Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Maj. Darrell G. Gott., stationed with the U. S. Air Force in Taipan, Formosa; a daughter, Miss Shirley Gott of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Madge Lethco, Ava, Mrs. Thelma Sawyer and Mrs. Hallie Yates, both of Route 3, Ava. and Mrs. Maxine Rozell, Kansas City; three brothers, Leonard Adams, Granger, Wash., Don Adams, Olathe, Kan. and Otto Adams, Ava; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harris Chapel, Ozark. The Rev. David Fulbright officiated, with burial in Union Grove Cemetery near Crossroads.
