Mrs. Dessie D. McFee, age 88, a pleasant Wirt County senior citizen, died at 12:15 a.m., Sunday, July 28, in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.

She was a native of Wirt County, born September 13, 1886, daughter of the late T.A. and Lucy Skinner Riffle.

She is survived by two sons, John Eddy McFee and Warren W. McFee, both of Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Lucy Reynolds of Elizabeth and Mrs. Lulu Abbott of Parkersburg; one brother, Roscoe Riffle, of Napier; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-gandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ura E. McFee, and by three daughters and one son.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pomroy Funeral Chapel, Elizabeth, with the Rev. E.J. Roberts officiating, and interment followed in the Sayre Cemetery on Enterprise Road.

Serving as pall bearers were six of the grandsons of the deceased, Thomas M. Reynolds, Jr., James Stanley, Sammy McFee, Homer Ray Ruble, Jr., Robert and Ronald McFee.
